Religious Education
Intent:
All children learn about and from religion to understand and respect the diverse world around them.
We aim to support our Cherry Tree children to become tolerant, reflective young people with the knowledge and awareness of religions and world views. The curriculum offers eight key areas of religion that help to develop personal identity and searching for meaning when considering different viewpoints. Children explore a variety of artefacts and stories to gain a deeper understanding. We work closely with the Watford Schools trust, which is a local Christian charity and other religious leaders in the local community.
