All children have the confidence to perform and express themselves musically.

Music is a powerful form of communication and at Cherry Tree children have the opportunity to develop the knowledge and skills to express themselves through singing and playing a variety of instruments. Confidence is built through performing collaboratively to an audience and artistic talents are celebrated together. Children learn about a range of diverse musicians and experience live and recorded musical groups. In Year 5 all children learn to play a brass instrument with Mr Fisher, Head of Brass at the Hertfordshire music service alongside other year groups taking part in musical workshops.

Quotes from the children: ‘I love doing body percussion because we all join in together’
