GOVERNOR VACANCY

We currently have a vacancy for a co-opted governor.

Co-opted governors are volunteers who do not need to have a connection to the school. Co-opted Governors, are appointed by other Local Governors and have the skills and experience required to contribute to the effective governance and success of the school. They will act in the best interests of the school and the wider community.

The governing body has a vital role to play in making sure every child receives the best possible education. No special qualifications are needed, the most important thing is to have a keen interest in the school and be prepared to play an active part in the governing body’s work. Training is available for all governors and is free of charge.  Most importantly, we seek governors who will have a passion for Cherry Tree and are keen to work in a supportive but challenging way with the Senior Leadership of the school, to ensure the continued delivery of high-quality education for children of families in our local community.

If you are interested in this opportunity, we would love to hear from you!
