Community Education Champions

Miss Tyler represented Cherry Tree at a reception for ‘Community Education Champions’ hosted by the Rt Hon Damian Hinds MP (who is the Minister of State for Schools) at Number 10 Downing Street.  The event was held to appreciate and spotlight teachers demonstrating notable dedication at their respective schools and communities.  He also acknowledged the colossal impact education leaders are making across the UK.

Miss Tyler was nominated to attend by Dean Russell, the MP for Watford, with Michael Jones the Headmaster of Parmiter’s School.

Expressing her gratitude for the the visit last Tuesday, Cheska Tyler said: "It was an absolute privilege to be invited to No10 and be recognised by Dean for the important work that we do for our Watford community at Cherry Tree and across the Inclusive MAT. I hope our children see this as a celebration of their community and it both reminds and encourages them to work hard, be brave and aim high."
