We are excited to inform you that on Friday 25th April, Year 4 will be going on a trip to London. This trip links to our recently completed topic, ‘How do we know where we are’. During the visit, we plan to explore some of London’s famous landmarks, including Buckingham Palace, The Houses of Parliament and Big Ben.

Trip details

• Departure: To ensure that the children have enough time to explore London, we will be meeting at Watford Junction Station at 9:15am. Please ensure your child arrives at the station on time so we can travel together as planned. If you have any difficulties regarding this arrangement, please do not hesitate to speak to us at the door. We will do everything we can to make this trip accessible to all.

• Return: We aim to be back at school by 3:15 pm. If there are any delays, the school will keep you informed.

• Clothing: Children should wear full school uniform with comfortable shoes suitable for walking and bring a coat, depending on the weather.

Packed lunches

Children will need to bring a water bottle and a packed lunch which we will eat there.

• Free School Meal entitlement: Please log on to SwiftKitchen and select the sandwich option for Friday 25th April.

• Paid school meals: You also have the option to order a packed lunch (sandwich option) via SwiftKitchen.

• Hot meals will not be available on this day.

• All orders must be placed by Tuesday 22nd April; otherwise, you will need to provide a packed lunch from home.
