On Tuesday 18th March, Year 5 will be going on a trip to Leavesden Country Park.

They will leave school at 9.30am and will walk to and from Leavesden. They will be back at school by 3.15pm.

Their topic this half term is ‘How sculpture can be used as an expression’. They will be following the ‘heritage trail’ and looking at the sculptures that have been created by artists to represent the history of Leavesden. They will have time to observe, sketch, discuss and reflect.

On the day, children should be dressed in their school uniform with suitable shoes for walking and a coat (weather dependent).

Packed lunches
Children will need to bring a water bottle and a packed lunch which we will eat there.
• If your child has a current Free School Meal entitlement, please log on to SwiftKitchen and select the sandwich option for this date - Tuesday 18th March.
• For those who usually pay for school meals, you also have the option to order a packed lunch (sandwich option) via SwiftKitchen.
• Kindly avoid selecting a hot meal as this will not be provided.
• All orders must be placed by Friday 14th March, or you will need to provide a packed lunch from home.

They will need volunteers to come with us for the day so please speak to the class teacher on the door if you are able to help.
