On Sunday 23rd March 2025, Miss McCafferty will be taking the children from our Year 4 & 5 Choir to the Royal Albert Hall to perform at the 30th Anniversary Gala concert with primary and secondary school choirs from across Hertfordshire. This concert celebrates music across the generations.

This year, the massed choir of singers will be supported by Hertfordshire Schools’ Symphony Orchestra and conducted by Rufus Frowde. Highlights include songs such as ‘When I Grow Up’ from Matilda the Musical, ‘Believer’ by Imagine Dragons and ‘Make your own kind of Music’ by Cass Elliott.

We have been invited to sing in the evening performance which will take place at 7.45pm. We will be getting a coach to the venue. The coach will leave Cherry Tree Primary School at 2.45pm to arrive at the venue at 3.45pm. The concert will finish at approximately 9pm and the coach will bring us back to school for you to pick up your child up at around 10pm.
