On Thursday 10th October, Year 5 will be going on a trip to Hampton Court Palace as part of our Theme learning for this half term. This historic site will provide the children with a fantastic opportunity to delve deeper into the fascinating world of the Tudors.

We will leave school at 9.30am and travel by coach. Once there, the children will have a tour around the building and gardens, immersing themselves in the home of King Henry VIII. We will be back at school by 3.15pm.

On the day, children should be dressed in their school uniform with suitable shoes. They will need to bring a water bottle and a packed lunch which we will eat there. If your child has a current Free School Meal entitlement, they will be provided with a free packed lunch from our school kitchen but please let us know if you would prefer to provide your own packed lunch.
