On Wednesday 19th June, Year 3 will be going on a trip to Kew Gardens in London. We will leave school at 9am and travel by coach to the Gardens. We will be back at school by 3.15pm.

Once there, the children will have a workshop, led by the Kew Gardens team on Pollination. This fits in with our Theme and Science learning about bees and plants during the Summer term. The children will also have a chance to explore the gardens and visit the exciting, interactive Children’s Garden.

On the day, children should be dressed in their school uniform with suitable shoes. They will also need appropriate protection for the weather as we will be outside all day. They will need to bring a water bottle and a packed lunch which we will eat at the Gardens. If your child has a current Free School Meal entitlement, they will be provided with a free packed lunch from our school kitchen but please let us know if you would prefer to provide your own packed lunch
