On Wednesday 17th April, Year 2 will be taking a visit to our local Mosque. We will leave school at 9.45am and walk to the mosque to arrive around 10:00am. We will be back at school by around 11.15am. Once there, the children will have a guided tour and a short talk about Pilgrimage and Hajj as this links with our RE learning. The children will have the chance to ask questions and explore a religious place of worship. On the day, please make sure your child is wearing correct school uniform with sensible shoes for the walk. There is no parent contribution for this trip. We do need volunteers to come with us for the morning so please speak to one of us at the classroom door if you are able to join us.
