We will leave school at 9am and travel by coach to Windsor. We will be back at school by 3.15pm. Once there, the children will have a workshop, led by the castle staff, on the history of the castle and have a chance to have a look around and develop an understanding of the different parts of a castle. They will find out how it has changed over time and how it was defended against attacks. On the day, children should be dressed in school uniform that is suitable for outdoor activities. This includes a warm waterproof coat and school shoes. As all children in Reception to Year 2 are entitled to a universal free school meal, they will be provided with a packed lunch from our school kitchen.
