Reception admissions are managed by the Herts Admissions Team.

Applications open: 2nd November 2020

Applications close: 15th January 2021

Applications must be made here. Applications after this date may still be made, but they will be considered to be late.

Please note: having a Nursery place is no guarantee of a main school place. There is a separate application procedure for Reception class.

Admission Arrangements 2021-22



Nursery Admissions are managed by Cherry Tree School. If you would like a Nursery place for the current 2019-20 academic year, please contact us on 01923 245490 for advice and see the arrangements below:

Cherry Tree has a small friendly Nursery for children who have their 4th birthday during that academic year.

We also offer 30 hours FREE childcare places for children (from age 2). To find out if you are eligible, please click here to visit our Free Childcare page. 

Our sessions run Monday to Friday:

Morning Session: 8.35am - 11.35am

Afternoon Session: 12.15pm - 3.15pm

30 Hours Funding: 8.35am - 3.15pm

The application process for Nursery admissions for September 2021 will take place in the Spring 2021 term.

Admission Arrangements 2020-21

School Tours

Our school will be holding school tours in line with current government COVID-19 regulations after 2nd December 2020. Dates for these tours will be announced once we are clear of the new guidance after this date.

In light of the current restrictions in place until 2nd December, we would like to offer parents the opportunity of a virtual tour and to talk directly with our Headteacher, Miss Tyler.

To register your interest please fill in our contact form with your preferred option and the school office will contact you with available times and dates.
